I can’t believe it’s been 10 weeks of sharing what’s got me filling up my wine glass, what’s got me all smiley. Join up if you want below, otherwise just enjoy.
Why I Wine…
* Feeling like I have cold. Then like I don’t. Then like I do. Then like I don’t. Not fun, body of mine. Not fun.
* Trying to decide what books to move and what books stay at my parents a little bit longer. My library, as crazy as it sounds, is part of me. Sadly there is not enough room at Knight’s place for all my books. Good thing we are selling the place later this year, right?
* 37 degree weather on Monday morning when I woke up. And having the heat on in MAY. Mid-May no less.
* I won’t be in Vegas for #BISC this year. I’m really hoping next year, somehow, some way.
What I Love….
* Impromptu Girls’ Night In to watch No Strings Attached. I rallied KH and my neighbor, because sometimes a fun night in during the week is the best. I was lucky enough to receive a Girls’ Night In pack (see below: socks, Red Velvet Cupcake Mix, comfy socks, wine opener & wine stopper, the movie as a BluRay/DVD Combo Pack and awesome tote bag)from Paramount and M80 earlier this month. What did we do? Chipotle (we all got a burrito of choice with chips), wine/beer/soda (take your pick), super comfy socks, and a night of sweatpants, no make-up and girl time. The movie? Pretty funny. I was pleasantly surprised. With lines like “Who do you think you are, the old man from UP?” and Ashton making period mixes and bringing over red velvet cupcakes, and well the end of the movie, I’m super glad I watched it. Also? New life goal is to be as tiny as Natalie Portman in this movie. Oh, and I totally want the soundtrack to this movie, if they make movie soundtracks still? **
* Being able to talk to Knight about anything and everything. He’s truly my rock, my best friend, an freakin’ amazing (not to mention uber handsome) fiancé.
* Unexpectedly falling into a good book, namely “The Blue Orchard” by Jackson Taylor. Thanks to PinkFlipFlops monthly book club (get involved in June if you want! It’s super fun and easy to participate.)
* My mom catching awesome photos like this when Knight and I aren’t looking.
* Jack being incredibly excited to see me when I got home Monday; he’d been at the kennel all weekend since we were out of town and you would have thought it’d been months since I was home. Bonus: he had a bath and his nails clipped = yummy smelling dog for a change.
* These photos from graduation:
* Celebrating my dad’s birthday today! I’m so proud to call him my father and look forward to a big weekend celebration. He’s been my mentor, one of my best friends, a guiding light in all aspects of my life, and an amazing father. Here’s to many more, Dad.

* Disclosure: I was sent that amazing package above and a $50 gift card to get supplies for the party, but was not compensated for any tweets, blog posts or opinions about the movie. I’m just a huge fan of romantic comedies, food, wine and friends. All opinions and views shared are my own.
