You know the name of the game. I share with you what’s causing me to pine for a glass (or four) of wine and then I flip to the sunny side of life and share what I’m loving this week. Want to play along? Grab the photo, post on your blog and link-up below!
* People who feel the need to negatively comment on *our* wedding plans. I appreciate your input (sort of) but when I’m obviously excited about it, keep it to yourself.
* Going thru the amount of stuff in my room and trying to figure out what is must haves, what I can toss/donate and wondering where/how in the world all my stuff will fit in Knight’s house. (It’s an adorable house, just not exactly what you’d call roomy.)
* When my friends hurt and there’s not a darn thing I can do about it.
* Pollen. Death to pollen. Soon, I hope.
* Having to avoid the previews for the current season of Grey’s Anatomy cause I don’t know want to know what I have to look foward to, considering I’m numerous seasons behind.
Making me smile….
* Endorphines from working out. They make me feel kind of invincible.
* Cute, cheap sandals from Target.
* Dancing with the Stars. I’ve kind of fallen in love with it.
* Having a tailor who gets me and the look I’m going for with my summer dresses that are too big for me. Excited to revamp my wardrobe for the summe since I pretty much live in dresses.
* An awesome meeting with our engagement photographer last weekend; so many fun ideas! I can’t wait for May 21st.
* Those amazing nights of sleep where you wake up at 1am thinking it’s time to get up but instead you get five more hours of sleep.
* 15 days until the move!
* Two super fun-filled weekends are ahead of me full of friends, family, memories and quality time.
* A delicious poppy seed bagel, toasted, and a hot chocolate.
* Snail mail from long distance friends; so much better than receiving bills and junk mail.
* Sharing amazing emails with other friends who are in similar situations as I am; it’s so great to know that you aren’t alone, have someone who can really late, and another person to turn to if you need them.
What’s on your list this weekend?

And have you read about Mister Linky's new features?

There is something about life events like weddings & having a child that bring out so much unsolicited advice – and opinions about decisions you are making! So annoying!! Not cool, not cool at all!
I am loving the lovely, warm weather. I am not loving living in a condo that doesn’t have central air. It’s currently 82 degrees as I type this. I should break down and turn on the wall unit in my living room, but I know it won’t make THAT much of a difference. time to shop for some fans.
Major life changes bring out people’s asshats. I’ve perfected the blank stare. The one where, when someone makes a negative comment, you stare at them blankly JUST long enough that they get really uncomfortable and realize what an idiot they are.
It’s a very useful technique.
And, your awesome list is longer than your sucky list this week. So that’s awesome, right?
Change negative wedding input to negative birthing/pregnancy advice and you have mine. I wish people would leave me alone. There is a reason I DON’T bring it up, they all do. Then they turn all judgy. I am about to scream at my aunt and my mother.. DID YOU WANT YOUR MOM OR MOTHER IN LAW STARING AT YOUR VAGINA WHILE YOU BIRTHED A BABY???????? NO. Respect my choice to have time with my child and husband ALONE before you come barging in. rawrrrr..
Oh and something positive.. ummmm… I get to meet my baby girl sometime in the next 19 days!
I’m sorry you’re getting negative comments about your wedding. People can be so ridiculous.
I’m excited you’re watching Grey’s. I’ve now seen every episode, and I love it. (I watched seasons one through four a few years late.)
I’m sorry people are being negative about your wedding. So excited about your move. Can’t wait to read all about it!
Ugh, that would drive me NUTS about the wedding input!
I haven’t been watching DWTS this season. I usually do! I’m rooting for Kirstie Alley though, I hear she is really pushing herself! Do you watch The Bachelorette? I can’t wait for that to start!
I do NOT love unsolicited advice–why do people do that?! I DO love warm weather, sundresses, and fun summer sandals. I’m so excited to be breaking out my summer clothes, FINALLY!
I love snail mail, but yes, these days it’s usually bills or ads.
Why don’t people who are dishing out negativity ever follow the rule of just not saying anything if they don’t have anything nice to say!?! Ugh!
One thing people are really good at is giving advice based on what they would do, regardless of whether it makes sense for the person they’re lecturing. It takes a lot more work to take a step back and offer insights that actually relate to the person in question. As I told Erin yesterday in a similar message about a different topic – people are lazy and take the easy way out. Just remind yourself, when it comes to lovers, weddings, kids and all sorts of other important decisions in life: There are usually multiple solutions to any single issue and you can’t make everyone happy all the time, so pick what makes the most sense for you!
Definitely just posted a pic of my new, cheap sandals from Target in my love list! And I can’t believe people aren’t being nice about your wedding plans – what in the world? Don’t they know that stuff is all up to you because you’re the bride? Come on, people.
I love DWTS, too. Ballroom dancers are incredible athletes and I like seeing how humbled the celebrities become when they start to understand just how difficult it is. I’ve taken quite a few dancing lessons over the years and it’s SO MUCH FUN, but so hard!
You can share any wedding plans with me and I’ll be nothing but excited for you
I LOVE when I wake up at 1 or 2 and feel like I have been sleeping all night and find out I get to go back to sleep for another 4-5 hours! the BEST!

I toooootally understand the negativity about wedding stuff… you should’ve heard the flack WE got for not having a traditional wedding. Blech.
DWTS has totally stolen my heart this season. And then it was ripped in two when Romeo was sent home. Him and Chelsea were such a cute little pair!
Oh man Grey’s is just so different from what it used to be. Even if you did see a preview you’d be so confused, haha.
And seriously negative comments on wedding plans are so not cool, people should just keep those sort of things to themselves.
As for me, I’ll be drinking lots of wine tonight because I’m playing customer service for two days and it’s giving me anxiety.
And I love that it’s almost the weekend and I’ve got fun plans with family and friends and a half marathon I’m highly unprepared for but can’t wait to walk, haha.
Moving ALWAYS sucks! I hate packing but I learned an important lesson from my mom: when in doubt, throw it out!
I’m a bit of a purger though, so good luck!
I want to do a post but blogger is down!!! GRRR. I wrote one and hope I’ll be able to get it up before Thursday is over!!! You know I’m one of your biggest fans of this series
I just love how this list has more in the Love category than the Wine category.
