1. Discovering that the smoke in Irish’s condo last night was not due to a real fire; only an electrical mishap that was easily fixed.
2. A mid-day conversation with Irish’s sister about family dinner tonight. She has dessert covered so I don’t have to worry about it for a change.
3. Being totally smitten with a four-pound dog. (She will be the one I start watching tomorrow. Totally adorable, a little bundle of joy and happiness. I will admit she’s no Jack, but Jack gets to play at my parents house for the week.)
4. The downpours of rain StL received yesterday. Irish and I had the windows open (to get rid of electrical fire smell), sat on the couch and listened to the rain.
5. Having a bad, bad dream but waking up to find that it was just a dream.
6. The promise of lots of sleep this weekend.
7. A boyfriend who is willing to talk and work through the few problems we have as they arise, even if they seem miniscule to him.
8. Rosemary infused bread.
ahhh the rain and thunder were fantastic….
